On May 6, 2024, I had the incredible experience of attending my very first concert in Seoul: the 2024 OMEGA X ENCORE CONCERT〈ISLAND : FOR EVERLASTING〉 at Yes 24 Live Hall. As an 11-member South Korean boy group, OMEGA X consists of Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan. They debuted on June 30, 2021, and are currently under IPQ Entertainment.

The concert was a thrilling adventure from start to finish. OMEGA X truly knows how to deliver an electrifying performance. Each member showcased their remarkable dancing skills and vocal talents through separate acts, highlighting individual strengths in various songs. This approach allowed fans to appreciate the unique qualities each member brings to the group.

The setlist was a dream come true for any OMEGA X fan, featuring their best hits from “Jun Food” to my personal favorite, “Love Me Like.” The encore, a staple in K-pop concerts, was an extended celebration that seemed to go on forever, much to the delight of the audience. One highlight was “Play Dumb,” which felt like it could have lasted all night with its infectious energy and fun vibe.

Towards the end of the concert, each member took a moment to express heartfelt thanks to their fans for their unwavering support, especially through recent challenging times. It was touching to see the genuine gratitude and connection between the group and their supporters. They were speaking from the heart and we could feel the love.

This concert was not just a performance but a memorable experience filled with joy, passion, and an undeniable bond between OMEGA X and their fans.
