Okay, so TAEMIN in London on March 9th for his Ephemeral Gaze tour? Let’s just say, my entire existence has been upgraded. Seriously, London was absolutely shook. None of us were prepared for the sheer masterclass that TAEMIN delivered. He’s not just talented; he’s on another level. Angelic vocals? Check. Legendary dance moves? Double check. Stage presence that could launch a thousand ships? Absolutely. Taemin? He is the moment.

In case you don’t know him and wondering… Who is TAEMIN? Imagine an artist who effortlessly blends powerful vocals with breathtaking dance and an undeniable charisma. That’s TAEMIN. As a member of SHINee and a successful solo artist, he’s a true visionary, pushing the boundaries of K-pop with every performance.

Let’s dive into the absolute chaos of the night. Troxy was transformed. Like, I’ve never seen it look so epic. The stage setup? Lights? The massive screens? We knew we were in for a ride.

Then, BAM! TAEMIN hits the stage after a killer intro video. Spotlit like the actual king he is, the theatre went wild. The cheers were deafening! He kicked things off with “Deja Vu” and “Guilty” (yes, the viral one!), instantly followed by the flawless choreography of “Advice.” My fave songs to start!

He took a breather to chat with us, asking which song was our fave (a true king of engagement!). Then, he graced us with “Goodbye,” which was breathtaking as he was dancing on his own without the dancers. “IDEA” and “Heaven” followed, then “I’m Crying” and “Not Over You” which were straight up divine. He even did some a cappella snippets, rocking a sparkly blue jacket that screamed high fashion (Chanel vibes, anyone?). So elegant!

“The Unknown Sea” and “Blue” were pure magic, with the sea of light sticks creating the most ethereal atmosphere. Then, a dance break where we got to shout out the dancers (they were insane!).

TAEMIN returned in a fierce red outfit with extensions, serving major edgy vibes. “G.O.A.T,” “The Rizzness,” and “Sexy In The Air” followed, keeping the energy high. He’s so good at interacting with the audience, making us feel like we were part of the show.

“MOVE” and “WANT” kept the momentum, but then came “Criminal.” Game changer. The dance? The vocals? Pure perfection. Highlight of the night, hands down. “Horizon” was the last song (sad face), but of course, we got an encore!

“Danger,” “Crush,” “Hypnosis,” and “Say Less” made for a seriously emotional encore. And just before the group photo, they played a fan video with London messages – so sweet and touching!

And just like that, it was over. TAEMIN is undeniably the king of K-pop. He embodies everything that makes the genre incredible: insane talent, unmatched stage presence, and a voice that’s straight-up heaven-sent. He’s the perfect intro to K-pop for those who would like to get into it, but honestly, who could top that?

Seeing TAEMIN live was an absolute dream. My only tiny gripes? A bigger venue would’ve been epic (more fans, bigger stage – you know the vibes). And, I’m still mourning the absence of “Press It” tracks (it’s my all-time fave album and what started my TAEMIN journey!).
