BAEKHYUN: A Masterclass in Vocals and Stage Presence at OVO Wembley Arena

On July 22nd, 2025, at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, BAEKHYUN’s live performance was an absolute moment, especially when you’ve been stanning EXO since day one! The man is pure talent, and we’re about to witness it unfold. It was the last stop of the European leg of his ‘WORLD TOUR Reverie’.

So, who are we talking about? None other than the one and only BAEKHYUN! If you don’t know, you’re about to find out why this legend is a true “master of the stage.” He’s not just a prominent member of K-pop titans EXO (and let’s be real, his vocals in EXO are iconic), and the supergroup SuperM – he’s also a solo powerhouse who’s been breaking records and dropping bangers like “City Lights,” “Delight,” and “Bambi.” We’re talking millions of sales, top charts, and vocals that can seriously give you chills. This man’s voice? It’s literally one of the strongest in the entire K-pop industry, capable of hitting those insane notes and then some. Plus, his stage presence is just next level – he owns it!

We are here for the 2025 WORLD TOUR ‘Reverie’, and trust me, the name says it all. This is BAEKHYUN’s first ever solo world tour in his 13 years since debut, and he’s here to give us a straight-up dreamlike journey and memories that will live rent-free in our heads forever. Fresh off his wildly successful Asia tour, ‘Lonsdaleite’, this tour is even bigger, hitting 29 cities across South America, North America, Europe (hello, London!), Oceania, and Asia. Seriously, he’s taking over the globe! And if that wasn’t enough, he even kicked off this year with a fire collab, “Do What You Do,” with UMI, and a new mini-album, “Essence of Reverie,” just dropped.

So buckle up, London! We’re about to experience the “master of the stage” himself, BAEKHYUN, at the OVO Wembley Arena. Get ready for powerhouse vocals, insane performances, and a night we won’t forget. Get ready because this is going to be epic!

As soon as I stepped into the arena, I could feel the incredible energy from fans holding those iconic EXO light sticks. It instantly brought back memories – not because I’d been to an EXO concert before, but because EXO laid a solid foundation for my K-pop passion from their very beginning. Seeing so much love for both EXO and BAEKHYUN truly warmed my heart.

The show kicked off with a stunning video playing on the massive screen. As the music swelled, the tall screen mid-stage dramatically rose, revealing BAEKHYUN’s silhouette against the stage lights at the back. The fans went wild!

BAEKHYUN kicked off the show with the powerful “YOUNG,” (which originally featured LOCO), with dancers joining him right away. He then smoothly transitioned into “Ghost” and “Pineapple Slice.” From that very first moment, we knew we were in for an absolute treat. The vocals were impeccable, and his dance moves were flawlessly smooth – an absolute joy for both our eyes and ears.

BAEKHYUN finally took a moment to catch his breath, thanking the fans for coming to his show. He mentioned that this was his last stop before heading back to Korea and, humorously, shared that he’d tried Nando’s – a true UK rite of passage! Honestly, how can you blame him? You can’t go wrong with a cheeky Nando’s.

The show continued with “Woo” and “Underwater,” bathed in beautiful blue lighting that perfectly resonated with the underwater theme. It truly felt like a full-on immersive experience.

BAEKHYUN then performed what I can only describe as one of the best songs from his repertoire… okay, maybe I’m a tad biased, as this is my personal favorite: “Bambi.” Picture this: a single spotlight illuminated him in the middle of the stage, wearing a hat and effortlessly channeling some smooth Michael Jackson’s moves – the hat definitely helped complete the look! His slick dancing paired with those amazing vocal skills? I’m still buzzing from that song!

“Chocolate” was up next, BAEKHYUN’s latest title track, and another one for the books! He performed this song so beautifully.
After a quick outfit change into an amazing jacket, he launched into “Rendez-Vous,” inviting fans to cheer with their hands up and sing along. The “Good Morning” performance featured cute, city-like visuals on screen, and again, he encouraged the fans to join in singing.

He took another short break to catch his breath and chat with the crowd, asking if everyone was having fun. The arena screamed “yeah,” and he jokingly retorted, “Me too!”.

“Love Comes Back,” a sweet ballad, was up next, followed by the fresh and energising “Lemonade.” The high-pitched vocals were simply incredible!
BAEKHYUN then performed “UN Village,” with dancers rejoining him on stage for this iconic track, showcasing amazing vocals. This was followed by “Truth Be Told,” accompanied by dancers in striking red outfits.
“Cold Heart” was particularly special; the dancing was beyond amazing, telling a great story through smooth, expressive moves. “Psycho” was another level entirely – what incredible energy, and the vocals were completely out of this world!

Unfortunately, we were almost at the end of the show. For “Black Dreams,” he sported another outfit change: a shirt, hoodie, tie, baggy jeans, and a hat. This was followed by the colorful “Betcha” and the iconic “Candy,” both playful and energetic!
Then it was time for another banger: “Elevator!” Such an amazing performance, especially experiencing it live compared to the studio version.

And just like that, the main show was over… well, you know the drill! It was encore time!
Before the encore officially kicked off, we had a very cute, karaoke-style interaction with “Late Night Calls,” where fans could sing along.

BAEKHYUN launched into the encore with “No Problem,” wearing a super cute outfit: a white tee tucked into high-waisted baggy jeans, adorned with adorable pins in his hair. Even his makeup had changed, featuring pink blush and star silhouettes on his cheeks.

After the first encore song, he asked fans to put down their light sticks for the next track, “Garden in the Air” (a BoA cover).
He took another brief moment to thank the fans for coming and playfully teased them about their singing during the earlier “Late Night Calls” fan-sing-along, joking that we were “too bad.” This, of course, led to him performing “Late Night Calls” live.

As we neared the very end, it was time for a group picture. While he was getting ready, a surprise video from UK fans popped up on screen. It was a heartwarming montage of sweet video messages from fans – a truly touching moment!
After the photo, BAEKHYUN performed the final song, “Amusement Park,” which officially marked the end of the show.

BAEKHYUN’s WORLD TOUR ‘Reverie’ in London was a show that won’t be forgotten anytime soon, if ever! BAEKHYUN has proven over the years to be the powerhouse we started to love from the very beginning with EXO.

BAEKHYUN also promised the fans in London that he will be back soon!

For now, we can bask in the brilliance of BAEKHYUN. What a show! His outstanding vocal skills were evident throughout; he made sure we knew the mic was on! And those sickening dance moves? Absolutely amazing!

Can’t wait to see what BAEKHYUN brings us next!
