London’s Troxy was absolutely on fire on the 8th of February as XLOV brought their L.O.V.E&U World Tour to town. I’ve been keeping a close eye on these guys since they first burst onto the scene in early 2025 with their debut single “I’mma Be.” Watching the journey of Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru—especially seeing the Boys Planet alumni finally get their moment—has been nothing short of impressive.
What really makes this group stand out for me is how they’ve completely embraced their genderless theme. It’s not just about the fashion or the aesthetic; it’s a message of fluidity and being your true self that’s clearly resonating with thousands of fans all over the world. It feels like they’ve carved out a space in the industry that’s all about breaking rules and ignoring labels, which is exactly the kind of energy we need right now.

I was particularly hyped for this show to hear the tracks from their latest mini-album, UXLXVE, live for the first time. The title track “Rizz” has been stuck in my head since it dropped in November, and I’ve been dying to see that innovative, fluid choreography in person.
Walking into the venue, you could feel that global connection immediately. XLOV represents a new wave of creativity that refuses to stay inside the box. Seeing that energy translate to a live stage at the Troxy was exactly the moment I was waiting for, proving that their message of authenticity hits just as hard in person as it does on record.
As soon as I stepped into the venue, I could feel all the love from EVOL. The theatre was packed—Troxy was completely sold out! The stage had a beautiful setup with lights spelling out XLOV, and I could already sense that the “divas” were about to put on a show. Spoiler alert: they definitely did!
The show opened with a dance group tribute to some iconic K-pop tracks, and the talent was incredible. After that high-energy opening, the lights went off, and the four members walked out. They struck a pose, and as the beat for “Rizz” started playing, they went straight into that viral dance split… the venue went wild! XLOV opening the show with their latest title track was absolutely mind-blowing.

After the first song, the members took a moment to introduce themselves. Right from that second, I could see how sweet and funny the guys are. They were cracking jokes throughout the entire show, which was hilarious and so refreshing to see. It’s great to see artists who are talented and professional but don’t take themselves too seriously, making everyone feel welcome and included. It was so fun and uplifting.
The show continued with “I’mma Be” and “1 of LOV,” where they gathered around four mic stands. They took another moment to chat with the fans and share some TMI about what they’ve been up to lately. The performances then moved into some covers; first up was the duo Wumuti and Hyun performing “Diamonds” (Rihanna cover). What a performance—the vocals were amazing.
Straight after, Haru and Rui performed a dance cover of “Hit & Run” (Francis Novotny cover). They left me speechless. They are such breathtaking, professional dancers; everything looked so seamless and smooth. They are true storytellers with their movement.
The group reunited to play a “team scream” competition with the audience—I’ve never heard Troxy so loud! Well done, EVOL! This was followed by a very sweet cover of “Lovesick Girls” (BLACKPINK cover). The covers so far were really spot on. They then moved into “BIZNESS,” which literally had fireworks sparking from the ceiling! I was not expecting that! “Scent” was up next, which really shifted the mood, followed by “Kiss and say goodbye”—both such beautiful ballads.
It was then time for a cover of “Angel Baby” (Troye Sivan cover), which was so sweet and had the whole room singing along. As the show neared the end, they asked the fans if they could “feel the love,” wishing everyone would go home with good vibes. They then performed “Dirty Baby,” which was so much fun!
Right before the last song, we had a special appearance on stage! The choreographer of the iconic moves in “1&Only” was in the audience and joined the group on stage to dance the chorus together! It was such a cute, spontaneous moment, and the guys showed him so much appreciation. After that, XLOV hyped the fans one last time, asking everyone to shout the word ‘energy’ as loud as possible before performing their iconic song “1&Only.” It was the perfect close to the set, and the fans gave their absolute best in supporting and singing along.

Before leaving, XLOV expressed their gratitude and seemed genuinely happy with the love London showed them. But… It’s not a K-pop show without an encore! After a quick wardrobe change, they were back on stage for the cute “Biii:-p,” which unfortunately marked the official end of the night.
XLOV were incredible at Troxy. I already liked their music and knew they were amazing dancers, but they really exceeded all expectations. They are incredible singers with a unique, powerful stage presence, and on top of that, they are so funny. It was a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Most importantly, it’s clear XLOV truly love their EVOL. During the show, they stopped a few times to make sure fans were okay and asked for help for those who needed it. That level of care didn’t go unnoticed and made me respect this amazing group even more.
I can’t wait to see what XLOV brings next!
