The wait is finally over for UK fans. After a whirlwind journey across the continent, powerhouses 82MAJOR brought their first-ever European tour, “BEBEOM : BE THE TIGER,” to a spectacular close. The grand finale took place on the 29th March, at London’s EartH in Hackney—a venue known for its raw, intimate energy that perfectly matches the group’s high-octane performance style. For those who have been following their rise, this London stop feels like a definitive moment. It’s the culmination of the European tour, which has seen the group proving exactly why they are one of the most exciting names in the current K-pop world.
If you’re new to the “82DE” fandom, 82MAJOR debuted on 11th October 2023 under Great M Entertainment. Their name is a nod to South Korea’s country code (+82), paired with their ambition to become a “major” force on the global stage. The group is a versatile six-member unit consisting of Seongil, Yechan, Seongmo, Seongbin, Seokjoon, and Dogyun. Despite being a relatively young group, they’ve hit the ground running; known for their strong hip-hop roots and self-producing capabilities, the members frequently contribute to their own lyrics and choreography.
Following their debut single album ON (which I loved!), they’ve steadily built a discography that leans into heavy beats and confident raps. Their most recent momentum comes from their fourth mini-album, TROPHY, released in late 2025. The title track has become a staple in their setlist, embodying their “tiger” concept—fierce, calculated, and impossible to ignore. As the lights go down at EartH, there’s a sense that this isn’t just the end of a tour, but the start of a much larger global chapter for the boys. I’ve been looking forward to seeing them perform live for a long time—here’s how the night went.
The lights went down, and 82MAJOR stepped onto the stage, kicking off the night with Heroes and Passport. From these first two songs, the group set the bar incredibly high; they truly made the wait worthwhile, and we were only at the beginning. The members then took a moment to introduce themselves, clearly buzzing to be in Europe for the very first time, with Yechan expressing his particular excitement about being in London.
The set continued with Gossip and Thorns, maintaining that high energy. They followed up with Stuck and one of my personal favourites, Choke. I had been waiting to hear this one, and I was completely blown away—the live version was even better than the studio recording. The boys told the crowd we were the best fans of the tour so far, asking us to keep that same energy moving into the next stage of the show.
As they moved into Suspicious, the whole venue was vibing. I’ll be honest: the studio version hadn’t caught my attention as much previously, but seeing it live was superb—a total vibe. They followed this with Illegal, which was incredible. The choreography was so smooth and highlighted each member’s unique skills; it was surprisingly one of the highlights of the night for me. It was the perfect example of how a live show can turn a B-side into a total banger.
After taking a moment to catch their breath and chat with the fans, the group explained that the upcoming set would shift the mood into something a little sweeter. Say More delivered a lovely hip-hop vibe; their style reminds me so much of 90s and 00s hip-hop groups, full of effortless style. It felt like a real throwback to my teenage years. The tone then shifted again with Face Time, which brought the energy right back up.
Before jumping into the next set, 82MAJOR took a moment to check on the crowd and see if anyone needed water. I love it when idols look out for their fans like that—it shows they genuinely care. Kudos to the group for that.
The next set was the one I was most looking forward to, and let me tell you, 82MAJOR did not disappoint. The combination of Trophy and Takeover was absolutely amazing; the energy was through the roof and heated the venue even more. During another fan interaction, they mentioned that on the train from Amsterdam, they loved seeing the British scenery and thought England was beautiful. They even mentioned they were keen to try a full English breakfast!
Seongil, the birthday boy, also shared how happy he was to celebrate his big day with fans in London. This led into a DJ set by Yechan playing a TROPHY remix, followed by the unit performing the heavy hip-hop styles of SLOPPY and Squad.
Unfortunately, we eventually reached the end of the main set. This led to another of my favourites from their latest EP, Need That Bass. The whole venue was moving; the live performance was so much more impactful than the studio version, so you can imagine how incredible the atmosphere was.
Up next was Birthday—such a cute moment, especially with it being Seongil’s actual birthday. While dancing, the members kept pointing at him, and he looked quite shy, which was very endearing. The real surprise came when the members brought a cake on stage—and not just any cake, but that British icon: a Colin the Caterpillar cake. I think Seongil got the authentic British birthday experience there! It was a lovely moment that made the UK fans feel truly involved.
Sure Thing was, unfortunately, the “last” song of the night… or was it? We all know a K-pop concert isn’t complete without an encore! 82MAJOR kicked off the final segment with Sister, followed by Mine and their signature track, 82.
They then thanked the fans once more and announced a surprise: 82MAJOR is planning a comeback for April, with Yechan co-producing some of the tracks! After a group photo with the crowd, they closed the night with the emotional Promise You.
Just like that, the show was over. 82MAJOR delivered a performance we will remember for a long time. We’ve waited a while for this tour since their debut, but good things take time, and it’s clear they didn’t rush the preparation. Their style is so unique—a perfect blend of classic hip-hop with a modern K-pop twist. In my opinion, they were ahead of the curve, as we’re now seeing more groups debut with a similar vibe, but 82MAJOR did it first. Their growth has been impressive, and each record gets better and better. I cannot wait to hear the new work next month. Stay tuned to our social media or 82MAJOR’s official accounts for more details.
The show was amazing, and I can’t wait to see 82MAJOR soar—and roar—even more in the future.
