Few bands have shaped the modern Korean Rock scene quite like CNBLUE. Comprising the charismatic Yong-hwa, the versatile Min-hyuk, and the steady Jung-shin, the group has spent over a decade proving that they are a formidable live K-rock band. Known for their high-octane stage presence, self-produced tracks, and undeniable chemistry that comes only from years of performing together, they have become a staple worldwide.
Now, after an agonising 14-year wait, the group is finally returning to London. As part of their 2026 ‘3LOGY’ European Tour, CNBLUE is set to storm the stage at the Troxy on 5 July, promising a performance that balances the raw energy of a rock concert with the deep, summer-night emotion their fans have missed for over a decade. Below is a special message from the trio, chatting about their long-awaited reunion with their European audience and their musical journey.
Q: CNBLUE is about to start a European tour. How would you express your emotions at this very moment? Are you nervous, excited, or both?
Minhyuk: Well, first of all, it’s nervous, but it’s more full of excitement.
Yonghwa: Because this is our first Europe tour, it’s so… The tension is included in the excitement, so, yes, we are looking forward to it.
Q: Outside of the stage, what is the one thing you are most looking forward to in Europe (e.g., food, landmarks, etc.)?
Jungshin: I’m most looking forward to the European fans. I’m looking forward to having a good time meeting you all.
Yonghwa: And since we have to eat a lot of delicious things here and there… Minhyuk is looking for them diligently and fruitfully.
Q: Your last London concert was in 2012. Now that nearly 14 years have passed, what has changed the most about CNBLUE, and what has remained unchanged?
Yonghwa: Wow, the London concert was 14 years ago. It’s been a long time. The biggest change in nearly 14 years is… my hairstyle… My hairstyle… my hairstyle and all sorts of things really changed a lot, but I think what doesn’t change is our passion for music and passion for performances.
Q: For those who are meeting CNBLUE for the first time, which song best represents your identity and musical journey?
Minhyuk: I think our latest album, ‘Killer Joy’, is a song that shows our musical journey.
Q: If each of you had to choose one song that is “most like me” from 3LOGY, which song would it be and why?
Yonghwa: The song that is most like me, it’s the same answer as before. Since I think ‘Killer Joy’ is the song that is most like us recently… I think it might be the core song of this ‘3LOGY’ tour.
Jungshin: Since he did ‘Killer Joy’, I want to choose the song ‘Temperature of Memory’. Because I’m a bit calm.
Minhyuk: I like ‘Ready Set Go’. Because I think it’s a song that contains our mindset and aspirations for this tour, so I think it’s a song that can start this tour in a fun way.
Davide: Lastly, please say a few words to the European BOICE who are waiting for you with excitement.
Yonghwa: We are very looking forward to our first Europe tour, and we would be very grateful if you could come a lot. We, CNBLUE, will do our best… We will finish the tour safely. Please look forward to it. This has been CNBLUE. Thank you.
Minhyuk: Please come and see us.
