If there is one group that defines the raw, cinematic power of K-pop, it is ATEEZ. On Sunday, June 28th, London’s BST Hyde Park transformed into an arena of pure adrenaline as the octet took to the stage for their exclusive UK performance.
Known for their “performance powerhouse” status, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho proved once again that their live sets aren’t just concerts—they are full-scale spectacles.
The group arrived in London hot on the heels of their latest musical chapter, the brand-new EP “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5.” The project has already become a summer staple, led by the addictive, phonk-infused title track “BAD,” which showcases a bold, confident new direction for the group. While the title track has been dominating everyone’s playlist, the rest of the EP—including my personal favourite, the groove-heavy, Latin-inspired “MAMACITA”—proves that ATEEZ continues to push the boundaries of their sound.
Seeing ATEEZ in an open-air festival setting like BST brings a different kind of energy to their already explosive choreography. From their iconic storytelling to their powerful stage precence, every moment on the Great Oak Stage felt like a statement of why they remain one of the most ambitious acts in the global music scene.
Join me as we dive into the highlights of this historic set, the electric atmosphere of their latest live performances!
While the sun was setting and the stage was being prepared for ATEEZ, the first thing that stood out to me was the live band setup—from that very instant, I knew we were in for a TREAT! A live band always elevates a K-pop show. After a short intro, ATEEZ walked on stage in stunning outfits; each member was styled in their own way, showcasing their distinct personalities. The crowd went wild as the first notes started playing—”BOUNCY” was the perfect opener! I was blown away by their energy, which they kept high right through to the end of the show. I was captivated from the very beginning.
The set continued with “Say My Name” and the iconic “WORK.” They then took a moment to catch their breath and introduce themselves one by one, expressing their excitement at being the headliners at BST Hyde Park.
ATEEZ then continued with “Shaboom” and the iconic “Lemon Drop”—such a fun stage, and once again, the live band elevated the whole performance! “ARRIBA” was up next.
ATEEZ took another moment to interact with the fans, saying that they loved the party vibe the crowd was bringing; they were right! ATINY showed so much love and energy; there wasn’t a single person who wasn’t vibing, jumping, or singing along. It was insane—well done, ATINY!
The set continued with “NASA” and the explosive “Ice on My Teeth.” This was one of the songs I was most looking forward to seeing live. The energy ATEEZ brought to the stage was incredible—halfway through the show and they were still going just as strong!
After another short interlude, the group performed “In Your Fantasy,” delivering high energy mixed with some sexy vibes.
ATEEZ took another moment to interact with us, saying they wanted to show even more of their “party side.”
The stage show continued… and I will be completely transparent with you all: I was extremely surprised that they performed their latest track, “BAD,” which only came out a few days ago. Seeing it live felt so special! And what a stage it was. ATEEZ delivered the song perfectly and nailed the choreography; it felt like they had been performing it for years. That is how smooth and stunning this performance was. It was one of my highlights of the night!
After another short intro, they performed the scenographic “Blind.” Before jumping into the next stage, ATEEZ took another moment to interact with the fans, mentioning that they had chosen the following set to make it special for the festival.
The mood shifted completely with a smooth, melodic transition into “WAVE,” which featured standing mics and screens immersed in nature visuals. It was so sweet and had everyone waving and vibing along with the group. The set then moved into “This house ain’t a home” and “Enough.” This segment felt very special because I could truly feel the love from ATEEZ to ATINY.
Unfortunately, the show was coming to an end, and ATEEZ expressed how sad they were about it. But what a way to end the show! For the grand finale, “Adrenaline” was first in line. They made me fall in love with the song all over again!
They then performed “I’m The One,” followed by the iconic “Break The Wall” anthem, “Guerrilla.” The whole festival was jumping and screaming with ATEEZ! “THE REAL” was the final song of the night.
This was my first time seeing ATEEZ and I was blown away by their talent and the high energy that continued throughout the whole show! The love that ATINY showed was undeniably beautiful, and the feeling was definitely mutual from ATEEZ. The whole show was perfectly performed—from the band and the extremely talented dancers to, of course, ATEEZ themselves—giving us a performance we won’t forget.
With their latest EP out just a few days ago and this incredible performance at BST Hyde Park, ATEEZ really made sure to leave an unforgettable mark on this summer!
