For over a decade, international J-Pop sensation LiSA has been the definitive voice behind some of the most defining anime anthems of our generation. Yet, despite her status as a global powerhouse who has packed arenas across Asia, the United States, and Mexico, British fans have spent years eagerly anticipating her UK live debut. That long wait finally came to an end on 22 September 2026, as LiSA brought her landmark LiVE is Smile Always15 tour to a rapturous, packed-out crowd at London’s historic Troxy.
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of her solo debut, the tour marks a monumental milestone in a career defined by relentless energy, emotional intensity, and genre-defying rock-pop mastery. To millions worldwide, LiSA is the undisputed queen of anime music—the voice that launched a thousand emotional highs through thunderous tracks like Demon Slayer staples “Gurenge” and “Akeboshi”, Sword Art Online anthems “crossing field”, “Catch the Moment”, and “ADAMAS”, My Hero Academia’s high-energy “Datte Atashi no Hero.”, and Fate/Zero favourite “oath sign”. Beyond her solo mastery, contemporary music fans might also know her for her incredible featured performances alongside global heavyweights, including her powerhouse vocals on “ReawakeR” alongside Felix of Stray Kids for Solo Leveling.
Stepping onto the stage under a cascade of lights and greeted by a deafening wall of sound from London fans who had waited fifteen years for this moment, LiSA proved instantly why her live shows are legendary. Trading on her rock-festival pedigree and a fiercely positive message of resilience—living by her signature mantra of another great day—she transformed Troxy into a venue of pure euphoria.
As soon as I stepped into the theatre, I could see the big strawberries on both sides of the stage, which really stood out—they were super cute.
A few minutes after 8:30, the show kicked off! The musicians stepped onto the stage, and a few moments later, out she came. LiSA opened the night with “DECOTORA15”, delivering high energy from the very first second. After a short introduction thanking the fans for coming to the London stop, she continued with “Datte Atashi no Hero.” and “Catch the Moment”. Three songs in, it was very clear that we were all there for a show. It was an incredible live performance backed by a full band, paired with LiSA’s boundless energy and impeccable vocals.
The set continued with “oath sign”, which led straight into an outfit change—live on stage, she transformed her look to reveal a brand-new outfit underneath! LiSA effortlessly rolled into “SWEET MAGIC” followed by an iconic cover of “Moonlight Densetsu” (Sailor Moon). It was a wonderful surprise, especially because everyone loves Sailor Moon.
“DOCTOR” brought a playful theatrical element to the night, featuring a doctor and a nurse dressed like they had just stepped out of an anime. They brought a fan on stage to interact with while LiSA performed, making for an amazing and fun segment.
The show moved on to “Akeboshi” accompanied by yet another outfit change, as LiSA graced us in a stunning kimono while once again showcasing her incredible vocal control. The momentum carried forward with “Zankokuna Yoru ni Kagayake” and “Homura”.
Following another costume change—this time into a white dress—LiSA strapped on an acoustic guitar for “HELLO WORLD”. It was such a sweet performance, and she even changed the lyrics to “Hello London” to make us feel even more included in the moment.
We then had another brief break for yet another wardrobe change. I absolutely loved the effort LiSA put into her stage production, even down to the sheer frequency of the outfit changes. The night continued with “Black Box” and “REALiZE”.
As the evening approached its climax, “QUEEN” and “ADAMAS” led right into two of my personal favourites: “ReawakeR” and the super-iconic “Gurenge”.
Naturally, no concert is complete without an encore! LiSA and her band returned to the stage with “Azuki Arai”, “PATCH WALK”, and a triumphant closing rendition of “crossing field” that left the room buzzing.
I was completely blown away by the entire night. LiSA was incredible, bringing high energy, amazing stage presence, and flawless vocals. Together with her band, they delivered a masterclass of a show—one that will leave fans craving more. And speaking of the crowd, the atmosphere felt even more special and elevated because of them. You could tangibly feel the high energy and deep love from the fans echoing back to LiSA every single time she hit the stage!
