London K-pop fans have been treated to some truly unforgettable nights lately, but on 16th October, The O2 Arena witnessed a sheer force of nature. Kicking off the long-awaited first European leg of their world tour, LE SSERAFIM delivered a breathtaking performance for a completely sold-out London crowd. From the second the lights dimmed, the excitement in the arena was electric—and the girls were clearly just as thrilled to finally be in the UK, bringing an unbeatable, magnetic energy to the stage and pouring their absolute hearts into every single choreography beat.
Formed under Source Music and HYBE, LE SSERAFIM—comprising members CHAEWON, SAKURA, YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and EUNCHAE—made their bold debut in May 2022 with the hit single “FEARLESS”. True to their name, an anagram of “I’M FEARLESS”, the group has spent the last few years dominating global music charts, setting record-breaking sales, securing major accolades, and stealing the show at massive international festivals like Coachella. Known for their fiercely empowering anthems and relentless stage presence, they have quickly solidified their place as one of the defining acts of K-pop’s fourth generation.
Their London setlist brought all that unstoppable attitude to life, including their latest release, “Made My Night”, which had every single FEARNOT (their devoted fandom) screaming along to every word. Seeing the five members live for the very first time was an absolute revelation—their explosive choreography, infectious enthusiasm, and genuine warmth left a massive, indelible impression on everyone in the room.
LE SSERAFIM kicked off the night with the anthem itself, CELEBRATION. It couldn’t have set the tone for the evening any better—right from that very first song, it was clear we were in for a true celebration. The set continued with Creatures, which was so fun and uplifting, followed by Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife, one of their most iconic tracks and a personal favourite of mine.
The group then took a moment to introduce themselves and share how excited they were to perform in London for the first time, emphasising how important that night was for them. Huh Yunjin took a moment to speak about how much the next song meant to her, sharing that she wrote Need Your Company with her fellow members in mind—a song written for those moments when people might experience misunderstandings, but ultimately overcome them to grow closer, seeing each other not just as teammates, but as true friends and sisters. With that sweet introduction, Need Your Company was up next, warming our hearts even more.
After a short video clip, Act 2 was ready to begin! The stage was transformed into a cosy living room set-up, which matched the upcoming vibe perfectly. Trust Exercise was up next and was super fun, followed by HOT, which brought a cute, uplifting energy alongside an explosion of confetti. The girls then carried on with Perfect Night, which pretty much summarised the entire evening! They followed this with Blue Flame, which sounded fantastic live, and EASY with an incredible rock twist.
LE SSERAFIM then continued their performance with 1-800-hot-n-fun, which surprisingly became my favourite set of the entire night—they completely won me over in an instant! That performance was pure high energy. In fact, the whole night was packed with relentless energy; the girls kept the momentum sky-high from start to finish, and the atmosphere in the arena felt amazing.
Taking another quick break to chat with fans, the girls even sang a few acapella snippets and invited some lucky audience members to dance along with them, which was such a fun moment! Speaking of fun, a hilarious interaction set up the next track, SAKI, featuring “Detective Sakura” on the case, dressed in a Sherlock hat for a wonderfully energetic performance.
After another video break, Act 3 kicked off with the iconic BOOMPALA and the viral hit ANTIFRAGILE—which, in my opinion, is the song that made everyone fall in love with LE SSERAFIM in the first place. Irony and CRAZY came next and were an absolute blast. They kept the momentum going with the viral track SPAGHETTI, featuring an incredible dance break mid-performance that elevated the song even further! As the night drew toward its close, the main set ended with a proper BANG through some of their most legendary tracks, including the remix of UNFORGIVEN and Fire in the belly.
…But was that really the end of the night? Of course not! You can’t end a K-pop show without an encore!
Made my night was up next, and it truly lived up to its title! That moved seamlessly into the super-cool ICONIC BY MISTAKE.
The girls then took a heartfelt moment to thank their fans from the bottom of their hearts. As their first European tour since debut, this show felt extra special for the group, and their excitement and gratitude on stage were completely infectious. The encore finally wrapped up with iffy iffy, No Celestial, and Smart, bringing an unforgettable evening to a close.
All that’s left for me to say is that LE SSERAFIM were incredible in London. They couldn’t have left a better first impression. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth seeing them live, just grab your tickets—you won’t regret it for a second.
What stood out to me most, alongside their incredible stage presence, vocal abilities, and sharp choreography, was how wonderfully down-to-earth they are. They are so passionate about their artistry, writing meaningful lyrics and contributing directly to their creative output. Seeing them so genuinely thrilled to be on stage in London showed just how much they love their fans—and how much they truly love what they do. I could see a genuine flicker of pride in their eyes as they shared their honest feelings with the crowd. Hard work always pays off, and LE SSERAFIM are a beautiful testimony to that.
